Hypnotherapy for Public Speaking Anxiety

People who suffer from public speaking anxiety will often have points in common. Yet, what one person struggles with is not necessarily a problem for others. Because everyone is different, I provide a tailor-made approach, with you in mind every step of the way.

I work with a unique combination of tools and techniques including NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), principles of CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and hypnosis to engage with both conscious and unconscious parts of the brain.

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness in which the mind is highly focused and your awareness heightened. This altered trance-like state naturally occurs when, for example, watching television or listening to music.

In hypnotherapy, it is artificially induced by the therapist to help the mind open to positive suggestions and use imagination to make positive changes in a person’s life.

During hypnosis, you are fully in control and involved but in a relaxed state that eases the process.

What to expect?

Every person experiences trance differently. You might be in a light trance for the first time but it will deepen with each session or you may surprise yourself and go straight into a deep trance. In my experience, the work is achieved whether the trance is deep or light, and you are always in control.

A person who does not want to be hypnotised will not be.
